Local 52 IATSE Greens Department dedicated to bringing natural elements to life on set. A team of experts specializing in the placement, arrangement, and maintenance of greenery, creating authentic and visually stunning environments for film and television productions. The department needed a fresh brand identity that would reflect their creativity, versatility, and essential role in the industry.

How do you create a visual identity that captures the spirit of a department whose work is deeply rooted in the natural world, yet thrives in the imaginative realms of film and television?

As a member of the Local 52 IATSE Greens Department, I was tasked with designing a logo and a series of illustrations that would embody the essence of our work—combining nature with creativity, while also reflecting the department's unique sense of humor.

Drawing inspiration from the organic elements that the Greens Department works with daily, I designed a logo featuring a tree at its center—symbolizing growth, strength, and creativity. To add a unique twist, I incorporated illustrations that portray the department’s work in a light-hearted, relatable manner, resonating with the team’s personality and their integral role in the production process.
